dunton wedding: other than flowers

The funnest thing about this whole trip was being able to bring out the girls (Annabelle, Nicolette, and Sarah) with me. Since Alethea wasn't able to come along due to a certain large girl quickly growing in her belly, I had to get some additional help.  With this crew everything went smoother than I could have imagined. The only hiccups were a flower box shipped to the wrong address and when I locked the keys in the car AFTER WE HAD FINISHED unloading everything on the day of the wedding. Sure we had to wait three hours for the locksmith to get there but all the flowers were out of the car!! I was so grateful for their help and I get teary thinking about how awesome it was. I cried when we had to pack up and go on Sunday morning.

Makes a grape in the snow. We got to play with our niece Hannah in a little storm that brought about eight inches of light and lovely snow while we were in Rhode Island. She was a little unsure if she liked it though.

a visit with choo

It has been a rough month without my partner in crime around. But we will reap the benefits of her rest soon, when the new floral assistant is born. The little gal is positioned to come on out so it could be any day now. Or maybe she'll wait a bit longer. I'll keep you posted!

ok, so i lied

I know I said there were lots more Colorado photos, and there are, but I can't show them to you, not yet. The real photos by Tec may be in a magazine so the arrangements and bouquets will be hidden away until a later date. So here's a few more of the beautiful scenery. And it turns out that in addition to being an incredibly adorable and talented florist, Nicolette is also an amazing hula hooper.

the aspens have eyes

We set up shop under the aspens to get started on the petite arrangements for the rehearsal dinner. Shhhh. Listen to the river flowing by and the wind rustling the trees causing a flurry of gold to drift down; more additions to our rider for next time.
