    the beautiful edible garden

I am a little late on posting this amidst all the craziness of the move...but, TRUMPETS, The Beautiful Edible Garden is now available! This is an awesome gardening resource loaded with user-friendly information on making your landscape good looking and good tasting. I photographed several of the gardens and we contributed a series of tips/projects throughout the book on how to bring your edibles inside to decorate. Highly recommeded spring reading! Star Apple just launched their new website too- check it!

    i'm destructive

What a week! We finally got into our new space and immediately started rippin it up. We have moved from our beloved Prairie Collective into a much needed larger shop. Last year was difficult- we were split between our crammed studio and our tiny but beautiful shop on Divisadero Street, but probably spending most of our time driving and moving things from place to place and trying not to step all over eachother. ALSO...Alethea has moved in a few houses down the street from me in Pacifica. We will be spending a lot less time driving and getting stuck in traffic- and more time doing awesome stuff together! Yep, I have a good feeling about this year.

    new book we are in

So fun to see a project from a while back finally come together! We made this recycled window table and shipped it off to Amy Azzarito in New York to be filled and photographed for her new book. Read about it on the Dwell blog and the LA Times, and get it here (March 5th release). Project from Amy Azzarito's book "Past & Present: 24 Favorite Moments in Decorative Arts History and 24 Modern DIY Projects Inspired by Them", photographed by Ellen Silverman.)
*AND, more exciting book news on the Star Apple Edible Gardens Book we helped with coming soon!
