While we were teaching workshops all over the country for our book tour earlier this year, we made an effort to connect with local farms to score some amazing flowers. Light bulb! Using local flowers as much as we can is really important to us...so why not take class to the next level and go straight to the source?! We are happily eastbound this August to collaborate with the lovely folks at Robin Hollow Farm and offer this unique summer flower class! The class will take place on Wednesday August 7th from 4-7pm at Robin Hollow Farm in Saunderstown, RI.
The class will begin with a late-afternoon tour of the fields by Polly, the owner of the farm. Then we'll talk about how to care for all those amazing flowers and show you how to put together a "choo-style" arrangement. From there we'll move into the workshop and it will be your turn! Alethea and I will both be in attendance and will be able to give lots of feedback and instruction. We can't think of many things better than sipping some sparkling and working with beautiful flowers on a warm summer evening! This is our first (and maybe our only) East Coast class this year- so we hope to see you there. Sign up online now!
