    west elm for mother's day!

The last day of our West Elm Emeryville pop up shop is this Saturday from 10-3. Perfect timing since Sunday is Mother's Day! Come on by, pick out an awesome vase, and we'll fill it with the most beautiful flowers for Ma. We'll also be making deliveries on Sunday but you need to place orders by 6pm on the 10th.

    west elm tomorrow!

Alethea and I will be slingin' stems and throwing out arranging tips at the Studio Choo pop up shop in West Elm Emeryville again tomorrow from 10-3! We've got peonies, lilac, LILY OF THE VALLEY, garden roses, honeysuckle, and a whole crew of our other favorites! We'd love to meet you so come by and say hi. Maybe bring us a treat or something. Since I was attending the Kinfolk brunch last Saturday, I wasn't able to take any photos of Alethea and Wendy in action...but the lovely Esme was nice enough to swing by and take these photos for us. Thanks Esme!

    kinfolk

We had so much fun at the Kinfolk San Francisco brunch on Saturday! If you haven't heard of it- here's a little description from their site: The Kinfolk dinner series is about inviting people to gather and take advantage of the rich community that already exists around them, opening up and drawing close to the people that share a common place. We aim to encourage collaboration amidst local artisans and small businesses. Our plan? 12 dinners, 12 cities, once every month. We created fifty seasonal bunches for the "farmer's market" where guests were invited to shop and get to know some amazing local vendors after eating the yummy food prepared by the Heirloom Cafe. We were also lucky enough to be invited to attend...Matt and I had the pleasure of sitting with Rachel, Samin, and Erin- we couldn't have asked for better company. I included just flower pics here but be sure to visit their site to check out the whole brunch! Our California grown bunches included so many of our favorites- lily of the valley, muscari, and fritillaria from Eureka, peonies from Fremont, sweet peas and poppies from Half Moon Bay, and honeysuckle and scented geranium from my garden in Pacifica! ALL PHOTOS FROM KINFOLK BY LAURA DART.
